Customer Review of ACT Home Inspections by Don W.

This is my personal recommendation for ACT home inspection. Adrien was a joy to work with. He arrived early and was very thorough during all parts of the inspection. He was very educated about all the different aspects of a home and luckily found one very costly repair that the owner agreed to fix. This was my fifth home purchase and I chose my own inspector without relying on a realtors referral. By going this route you eliminate any conflicts of interest. Adrien stands out high above any other inspectors I have ever hired. You owe it to yourself as a home buyer to hire the best home inspector to make sure you are informed on this huge investment. I would rehire ACT again and refer him to my friends and family.

“Pre-purchase home inspection of a 100+ year old house. Evaluation of indoor and outdoor construction methods, basic plumbing, electrical, potential hazards, and potential repair suggestions were all covered. Radon test was also performed.

Adrien performed a VERY thorough inspection on this home as well as the barn on the property. We spent about 5 hours going around and through the house, even though it’s not a large building (~1600 sq ft). He was knowledgeable in all areas, and his manner was professional but friendly. He did a good job of noting minor code violations, but also did a good job of communicating any REALISTIC risks, whether or not they were technical violations. An inspector’s job is not to provide estimates for repairs, but Adrien provided me with helpful advice as to where to look for further information that was beyond the scope of his inspection. He also did a good job of pointing out strengths and weaknesses of the structure, without exageration or bias in either direction.
I would not hesitate to hire him again in the future, and would highly recommend him to friends.”

“We did the basic home inspection and he went through the entire house. He checked everything from electric, plumbing, doors, railings, the roof and siding of both our house and the seperate barn. He checked the heat to make sure that was running properly, all of the appliances in the house, all of the sinks, washer and dryer etc. He was very thorough.

My wife and I used ACT Home Inspections twice now. Our first house fell through due to taxes not being reported to us the correct amount and now the second time for the house we are purchasing. The owner Adrien was very considerate and patient with us as we had a lot of questions and really did not understand certain things he was going over at first. He made us feel very comfortable in our new house. I had used other home inspectors in the past and always felt confused and lost, it was a different story with Adrien. I will use him for any type of inspection or housing question that I may have in the future. You can not go wrong with ACT Home Inspections if you want a thorough and accurate report on your new home!”
